Shooting Camera Shots and Movements for the First Time

 My Media Studies teacher gave us the assignment to Capture various camera angles, shots, and movements to better our knowledge of this subject. This assignment was very useful for me as I opted to do the film opening task for my foundation portfolio. Using my brother as my model, and a DSLR camera to take pictures, I went ahead with this assignment.

Here are the outcomes:

Camera Shots 

Extreme Close-up Shot

Close-up Shot

Long shot

Over-the-shoulder shot

Medium Shot

Camera Movements

                                               Pan Movement

                         Tilt Movement



Overall, I believe that I could have done a better job, but since it was my first time ever attempting something like this, I was quite satisfied with my work.
